What is the St. Francis Project?
It is an association to promote the culture of legality, a study centre in support of social responsibility and the fight against mafias in the world of work and in society. In particular, we wanted to create a platform through which to activate institutional relations with the Prefectures, the Police Headquarters and the different offices of the Government of the territory involved in the prevention and safety of the workplace, in territorial welfare, in the choices of development policies. Through training and collaboration with all the social protagonists, other associations, trade unions, companies and the school world, it promotes the culture of justice and the fight against mafias. The Study Centre is based in Cermenate, in the province of Como, in a building confiscated from the ‘ndrangheta. The centre of Cermenate is dedicated to the lawyer Giorgio Ambrosoli
